سولفات پتاسیم حاوی دو عنصر ضروری گوگرد و پتاسیم برای رشد گیاه می باشد. پتاسیم بیشترین نقش را در تولید گل و میوه و افزایش مقاومت گیاه دارد. گوگرد محلول در آب موجود این کود باعث افزایش قدرت ریشه دهی شده و به گیاه در تولید اسید آمینه و پروتئین ها کمک می کند. گوگرد داری خاصيت قارچکشی نیز می باشد.
از ویژگی های دیگر این کود حلاليت بالای آن می باشد که امکان استفاده در انواع سیستم های آبیاری را فراهم آورده است. همچنین شاخص شوری کود سولفات پتاسیم کمتر از کودهای معمولی پتاسیمی بوده و در نتیجه شوری کمتری در خاک ایجاد می کند.

SULFATE POTASDIUM

Potassium sulfate (K2SO4) contains two elements, essential for plant growth, Potassium and Sulfur. Potassium plays an important role in flowering and fruiting stage and increasing plant resistance. Water soluble Sulfur in this fertilizer increases the rooting and it also helps producing amino acids and proteins. Sulfur also has fungicidal properties.
Potassium sulfate is easily soluble in water and is suitable for all irrigation systems. It also has lower salt index compared to the majority of regular potassium fertilizers, making it a favored alternative in cases which the soil salinity is high.
